Excellent food served in a quiet nicely appointed dining area. Service was very good. Highly recommend.

Needed lunch and was driving around looking for a place we had not gone to in years. ( we season in Wisconsin) Remembered 29 Pines Family Restaurant. It is still a great place. They have a buffet certain hours but they always have the menu to order from. The food is fantastic, potato chips are home made and delicious. I had liver and onions off the senior menu. My husband op-ed for the Tuna-melt. Both were fantastic. We will be going back for sure

This restaurant has a classy fine dining feel, with a bit of small town charm. It is very well decorated, the environment is clean and bright, but not too bright. There is not any loud music or distractions. It is a quiet cozy little restaurant with great home style food and low prices. The staff is courteous and attentive. The food on the buffet is hot, fresh, and presented in a tasteful way. Nothing here feels like a TV dinner microwaved and served on a fancy plate. It tastes and appears to be made from scratch. I would recommend this cozy place to anybody who is looking for a quiet and delicious dinner for one or a whole family. * I didn't visit the lounge section of this restaurant

Pleasant atmosphere the service was exceptional and the food was very good I will stop there again as I travel through this area.

Good service and a fairly priced menu

Should be no stars, service was slow when they weren't busy. Food was disgusting, I took 2 bites of my burger that was supposed to be well done and was very pink. Burger had no flavor abs was disgusting.I asked the manager for my money back on it cause I did not want it. The manager stated they have a no money return policy. Eat at your your risk, I have no clue how this place is in business.

Thanksgiving buffet was a real treat, and nice having to not lift a finger to cook! Traditional foods along with a few different items that were very tasty.Friendly waitress's and very accommodating. The bar tender was alot to be desired.They could of used another person helping out, taking drink orders

I frequently stop at their convenience store on road trips. They offer a large selection of local cheese and meat snacks, as well as beer, wine, and liquor. They have everything you’d expect from a convenience store and then some. Bathrooms are clean and well-maintained.

Great space for a breakfast, lunch or dinner party/meeting. I attended two events here in the last year and both have been well catered to. Brooke and Lilly are the bomb! Convenient location with people coming from Minneapolis. Can't beat the the bar atmosphere either! Recommend for any business having employees / customers coming to the Chippewa Valley!

Was in town for a few days last month and we stopped into this place. I was a little nervous about a restaurant attached to a gas station and hotel...sometimes that means the food is cheap or bad. This place was wonderful! The soup was fresh and very well seasoned. My boyfriend had the gyro which he loved I had the broasted chicken which was juicy and very well seasoned. Service was great. Really great find. The boyfriend lives in Eau Claire and will be back, and next time I visit we will stop in again. Very very good!

We had to go back into the kitchen area to find someone after waiting at the sign to be seated for over 20 minutes. Ordered the avocado omelet and after 45 more minutes, it came out with no avocados. The food actually tasted very good even though it wasn't right. The salad bar looked amazing, and I should have gotten that!

Burger made to order. Salad bar great except for the weird tasting sweet potato salad. Soup not ready. Bread pudding was so-so.

I was at 29 Pines yesterday for a conference. Our group walked over from the hotel to the restaurant for lunch. I was very impressed by the facility and the wonderful food! Our waitress was very cordial and the portions were very generous. Super nice place!

I was honestly expecting something like Denny's but I was blown away by this place. The atmosphere and decor is so classy and lovely. Our server Rose was very wonderful. The food was absolutely amazing. We tried the cheese curd appetizer and they were perfectly fried and seasoned. We also got a patty melt and and cheeseburger, also both amazing and in such large portions I took the other half to work for lunch. The cheeseburger was so fresh and delicious it was like biting into a steak! They also have soup on the bar and I think their chicken dumpling soup is the best thing I've eaten since coming to Wisconsin. We will definitely be going back again and working our way through the menu!

Horrible service in the bar. Bartender seemed more interested in the guy at the bar than a table of six women. She never checked on our table or asked us if we wanted anything. The only time she noticed us was when we put on our coats to leave. She was very surly.

This place makes a good cocktail. Haven’t been to the restaurant area, but would love to check it out after reading some other reviews. Great spot for on-the-go truckers.

I originally gave this restaurant 1 star as my first experience here was very poor. However, I gave it another chance out of convenience and it was significantly better! I went there for brunch with a group of people that included adults, children, and infants. The food was good (I had a farmer's skillet and my husband had ribs) and the staff were very friendly.

I understand they were busy on that Friday night but my broiled fish wasn't cooked all the way. The best part of the meal was the salad bar.

Had the all you can eat lunch buffet. Large selection of food options. Very clean set up, food was correct temperatures, food refilled promptly. Taste of food was good overall. Serving staff was pleasant and timely with our requests. Restaurant was part of a beautiful, clean and helpful plaza setting. Will definitely be going back to check out the regular menu items.

Three waitresses gabbing at the front desk. One walks me to my table and I tell her I'm rushed for time and I know what I want. She says your waitress will be right with you. Five minutes later she asks if I want coffee or something while I am waiting, while I am waiting??? I again said I was in a hurry. It's not my table she says. When I was a waitress we helped each other out if one of us was busy. Obviously not the deal here. I finally got up and walked out. It is no wonder there was only one other table in the place. Don't bother trying this place if you are in a hurry or simply want your order taken in a reasonable amount of time. Still three waitresses gabbing at the front desk when I walked out!

Really good prime rib. The rest of the time, some food is great and some average.

Atmosphere is great food is good a little pricey. Fried shrimp basket with garlic parmesan fried very good $9.00 but it was a full dozen shrimp. Breading a little over cooked crunchy. Fries perfect. Full salad bar $8.00. Not very busy so service was great but brought put shrimp a little too soon. Total bill before tip just over $20. Views out of window over look valley beautiful water feature in dining area very cosy for a date night.

Food was very good! Staff is A+ the only thing I noticed is its too quiet. We had our 6 yr old with and no issues waitress was great just very quiet atmosphere. Drink specials, nightly specials, burgers are amazing!

The salad bar was just ok. The soup was below average. And the burgers must be made on a open fire grill. Witch yes i love grilled food but this burger has way to much char. But was done med for my liking they did do well with getting it done the way i asked.

They steak was spoiled! It even Smelled spoiled! Sent it back twice and then just asked for the bill! Lol Charged half for the meal!

Bed Bath & Drapery has had several Christmas parties at 29 Pines. We have a small group (10-15 people) and had appetizers and drinks. The staff prepared and decorated a small room for us. The food was excellent and the pricing very reasonable. The service and attention we received during the get together was exceptional. I would recommend 29 Pines for parties large and small.

Orderd steak and eggs. Took one bite of steak and gave it back overcooked and burnt with zero flavor. Waitress did ask if I wanted a new one I declined. Never offerd to comp it off the bill. Avoid this place

Food was great but it took awhile and they forgot my soup

Beautiful building. Huge, all in one stop. Hotel, gas station, restaurant, fireworks. You can swim for free on Tuesday at the hotel pool. If your lucky? The presidential motorcade might swing by. Happened to me. Very cool. Great build to stop or stay at.

Great place, just management is not helpful

Drove over 4 hrs to view fall leaves and decided to stay over. Service was excellent in both motel and bar. Very clean room with selection of pillows, but foam topped bed was horrible!! Lumpy and the foam retained body heat so did not get a good night sleep. Reuben Sandwich in bar tasted like beef jerky on toast....no dressing. Fries very crispy, but I am not a fan of seasoned fries. Sorry but I won't be back nor recommend this establishment.

Every bite of food is great. The silverware is nice and heavy. I like the paper underneath the food is nice. Garlic ranch sauce is great. Best restaurant in the world.

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived! I am staying here several days a week for a few weeks for work and they are just 3 miles away. The room is clean and comfortable with nice beds. The staff is great as is the free breakfast. If you stay here, be sure to stop next door by the restaurant, great burgers!!

Nice spot to stop on the way. Usually fairly quick, depending on what i need. Mostly fuel or variety of coffee, beer, cola, snacks, hot and cold food in gas station area, nice lobby! Extremely beautiful lobby area had tables gorgeously displayed for Valentine's day featuring the restaurant area! Nice gift area too!Clean convenient restrooms is always a plus! Wound recommend to others as well as will return as needed. Thanks

My apologies, I actually meant to give 5 stars. Noticed the mistake when you responded thanking me for my review. We travel back and forth from WI to MN on 29 regularly and love stopping at 29 pines as it is clean and offers great food!

The service was great! The food is average. No real complaints. Just nothing spectacular about it to give more stars.

Brianna was a really nice bartender. She was very attentive and friendly.
